This small yet comfortable hotel lies opposite Amsterdam's city zoo, ARTIS, in a pleasant green district of the old city centre. The Plantage district was originally laid out in the 17th century as gardens. It is a 15-minute walk to the main train station, Dam Square and Rembrandt Square were a diverse selection of bars, pubs and transport links are to be found. The old town is some 3 km wide, so may easily be explored on foot. It is 200 m to the nearest nightclub and a tram station is 400 m away. The Oosterpark lies 800 m away and it is approximately 25 km to the airport.This hotel was built in 1880. The air-conditioned establishment comprises a total of 19 rooms.
