This is ideal for those travelling on a budget but still looking for simple, clean, comfortable accommodation. The hotel re-opened on August 2005 under new management after being renovated. Due to its past as a Victorian family house, there is a nice homey feel to it. Please be informed that the hotel closes everyday at midnight, so all guests are required to check-in before midnight. (08/08RPL) Location The hotel is located in the Walthamstow area to the east of London, only four stops to central London on the Victoria tube line. Distance 10 kms to city centre 12 kms to the airport (london city airport) 40 kms to the airport (stansted) 3 minute walk to the nearest metro station (blackhorse road) 1 km to the nearest station (walthamstow) 1 minute walk to the nearest bus stop 15 km to the nearest fair site (excel - docklands) Rooms All rooms are en suite and very simply decorated. All rooms have their own TV and fridge. All rooms have been recently renovated and are very clean. Bathrooms are very clean and fairly new. All rooms have tea/coffee facilities and mineral water is replaced daily in each room. Restaurant The breakfast room shares the space with the reception and is located in the ground floor. It's small but comfortable and clean and has a fireplace. Exterior This is a Victorian house converted into a small hotel. The facade has been recently renovated and the door is flanked with trees. Lobby There is no lobby. The door leads directly to the reception and breakfast room.
