This hostel is located in the immediate vicinity of the world-famous Zoologischer Garten train station (30 m away), in the centre of former West Berlin. Ku'damm, Berlin's longest shopping street, as well as the historical Memorial Church (Gedächtniskirche) and the zoo are near to the hostel. Schönefeld, Tegel and Tempelhof airports are 15, 7, and 5 km away respectively and can be easily reached by public transport.The hostel was built in 1962. Guests can feel at home in one of the 113 rooms. A lobby and a reception are available to travellers. Most of the storeys can be reached by lift.
