This hotel is located on Balestier road, around an 8-minute drive from Orchard Road, the famous shopping belt in Singapore, and some 10-minutes by car from the city centre. It lies about 5 minutes by car from the Novena MRT Station, giving guests access to the convenient and extensive subway system that spans the entire island. Within approximately a 5-minute walk is the Shaw Plaza - a complex housing a supermarket, a cineplex, a fast food restaurant and shops. A further 5-7 minutes walk away, approximately, are the Sun Yat Sen Nanyang Memorial Hall, the Sasanaramsi Burmese Temple and many interesting eateries offering local cuisine such as chicken rice, rice dumplings and "steam boat".The hotel was built in 2005.
